Error W3001: Error while executing plugin (Too many failed login attempt)

Do anyone know this error?

Looks like you haven’t properly set your credentials for connecting to the OL Connect Server. Review those settings in File > Preferences > Behavior > Connect.
If your connections parameters are correct, then check if the Connect Server is actually running: open the Windows Task Manager, go to the Services tab, and check the status of the OLConnect_Server service.

Hello, I’m having the same issue:

I don’t see a File > Preferences menu in Workflow or Connect, but here are the OL Connect Proxy settings on Create Output in Workflow:

One of these must be incorrect, right?

Thanks!

Can you check and make sure that your Connect Server services is currently running?

“PlanetPress Connect Service” is running.

FYI, I’m using v. 2021.1.0.2774 of the software and I don’t see a File > Preferences menu in “PlanetPress Workflow Configuration - Development version”, “PlanetPress Connect Designer”, or “PlanetPress Workflow Service Console”.

Perhaps I need to update my software or install a non-Development version?

Thanks!

The “File” menu is replaced by the big W in Workflow.
In Connect Desig it is Windows->Preferences
In Connect Server Configuration ->Connections->Security and Users

Hmmm… I’m still missing something.

Here are my Workflow Preferences Connection Settings:

Here are my Connect Server Configuration Security and User Settings:

Here are the Execute Data Mapping OL Connect Proxy settings:

The PlanetPress Connect Service is running:

And I restarted the PlanetPress Workflow Service. Any other ideas?

Thanks!

Hi @b-ssb, you’re missing the password (PlanetPress Workflow icon > Preferences > PlanetPress Workflow Preferences window > Behavior > OL Connect > Server Connection Settings).

To be clear, in this case the password should be the password of the ol-admin Windows login on the server? Or is this just any password I want to input for the ol-admin username?

Thanks!

For future reference the password for the ol-admin username is not the password of the ol-admin Windows login on the server.

I’m assuming the password is whatever you set it to be in the Connect Server Configuration app, which is only available on our admin login on our server, hence the confusion on my end.

Thanks!
