disable 3rd page in designer

I’m new to connect and in suite 7 it was easy to deactivate a page but in connect i can’t find a way to do it.

Basically I have a duplex job and designer will add more pages based on the length of the record in the data. If the table gets to the bottom of the page it’ll add a new page and continue the table.

The records are duplex with a variable front and a generic T&C’s back page. When I get to a record which requires an extra page it will print out like:

Variable page
Generic back
Variable page
Generic back

when really I want it to be

Variable page
Variable page
Generic back

does this make sense? How can I do this? I will also need to do it if it goes over 6 pages, 8 pages etc.

Hi Mark,

Can you validate your print section’s properties, under the sheet configuration tab, you must make sure you allow content on the back as well, not only on the front. Do you have maybe a screenshot of your properties? Also what is your Connect version?

Hi Mark,

One way would be for you to have two Simplex Sections. The first section has the variable data that overflows the table to multiple pages, the second section has its background set to your PDF Resource containing the T&C’s. (Or you can add the image directly to the T&C section) This way the T&C’s are always the last page for each record.

There is another way using a single Section and configuring the section Sheet Configuration. That one is a little more involved so I can supply a sample of that as soon as I have a chance.

EDIT: Achieving this using a single section and configuring the Sheet Configuration is not possible.

For the time been will this suffice?
