Debug datamapper script

Is it possible to debug a datamapper boundary script?
Is there any way to run it step by step, or write out diagnostic info, see variables, or view the state of the boundaries object?
Thanks for any suggestions.

You can log from the script to the bounderies ot the Message panel by using the logger command.
