Connnect DB- change the option Allow MySQL Server to accept non-local TCP connections after installing Connect DB

Good day.

We have installed the PP Workflow 8, Connect server & Connect data base on VM server type machine. During the installed of Connect Data base we did not check the option: Allow MySQL Server to accept non-local TCP connections, we have installed PP Connect Designers on others stations but in the PP Designer–> Windows –> preference -> DataBase Connection when we click on the button Test Connection it failed because the previous option. We can Ping the server from the station and make the firewall left open the port 3306.

So I there a way to change the option Allow MySQL Server to accept non-local TCP connections (Connect Data Base) so the PP Designers on the other stations can access Connect Data base without re-installing Connect?

I did check the installation guide of PP Connect 1.5 and also this forum but I did not any answers

Thank you

Hello, you could try as described here (and various other links)
MySQL: How to allow remote connection to mysql - Stack Overflow.
However it might be the easier task to re-install Connect and select the ‘non-local’ option.
Modifying existing MySQL permissions etc. can get quite tricky and this might result in additional problems afterwards.
(something that would not have be to worried about when re-installing).
