Connect Designer all blank user interface

When I opened Connect Designer this morning, the user interface stays mostly blank. The menus appear, but the entire central user interface, all the window panes, are missing. This occurs whether opening a template or not, and holding down the shift key while Designer launches has no effect.

Try Window > Reset Perspective

I’ve had this issue with high resolution monitors. The Window Reset Perspective works some of the time, but not always. Any other ideas?
