Adding a Barcode to a PDF Input Job

Hi

I have a job which is a PDF input and I need to add a 2D barcode with a UID to the first page in each pack. I appeared to have this working but within the template but some of the PDF’s don’t have a transparent background so the bar code appears to be getting covered up. Is there a way to make this always appear at the front rather than back?

Make sure your PDF is set to the background of the page.

As Phil has already written, it is best to include the PDF as a background PDF.

If for some reason this is not an option, the barcode element (div) can be assigned a higher z-index if necessary (via CSS, JavaScript or via the frame’s properties).
