2022.2 Designer Design panel wrong size

I’ve updated the Designer to the new version and now the source\design\preview area is smaller than the available space.

I’ve tried to reinstall the suite, change resolution and use the “Reset perspective” option with no avail, the area can’t be resized apparently.

How can I solve the issue?
